Gers Dads & Lads headed for Abbotstown on Saturday afternoon to play in the National Blitz Day organised by the GAA. Although the conditions were very bad, with rain throughout, it was a really enjoyable afternoon. With games against teams from Dublin, Meath and Wicklow, the Gers gave a great account of themselves and were competitive throughout. Thanks to all who attended, and to those who made it to the after party.
