Everyone at the Geraldines is deeply saddened by the news that former player and club member Tom O’Brien passed away yesterday

Tom is the father of our club referee Cathal and current player Darren and the brother-in-law of Stephen, John and Martin Thornton who all have great associations with the club.

Tom was a great club man who umpired our senior matches when he wasn’t away umpiring for Cathal.

Tom will be sorely missed around the club. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom's wife Dolores and all the family at this difficult time.

The Funeral arrangements will be posted as soon as we get them.

May he rest in peace.
