A Chairde,

It was a huge honour to be elected Chairman of this great club for 2019. I will endeavour to work hard for all of our members and try to ensure the Club runs as efficiently as possible.

As the ball is thrown in on the beginning of 2019 season, I want to wish all of our teams a fun, enjoyable and successful year. I give my thanks to all of our volunteers and mentors who work tirelessly and give up so much of their time for the betterment of the club and its members; to the Committee and working groups who continuously drive our club forward by being innovative and coming up with new ideas and initiatives; to the parents of our younger members who continue to trust that we provide a fun, safe and positive experience for their children while instilling a togetherness which will hopefully stay with them throughout their lives. Finally to our many players, youth and senior, male and female – remember to enjoy your game, try your hardest and always have a smile on your face. You may not know it but you are making friendships that will last a lifetime, playing a sport that will provide you with a passport to travel the world and you will always have a readymade family waiting for you in any GAA Club no matter where you may find yourself.

Play hard, play fair and remember that medals will never define you.
