A brief update on Geraldines GFC club general activities over the past couple of weeks
As per GAA guidelines, all Gaa club activities are still in lockdown until July 20th. Appreciate everybody for co-operating on this as we know it's not easy but let's keep at it.
Geraldines ladies 24 hour solo for darkness into light was a tremendous success. Well done to everyone involved on raising 8470 euros for Pieta House. Thank you also to everyone who donated.
The GAA COVID-19 volunteer initiative will continue.Thank you to our volunteers who to date have made over 100 deliveries to various corners of our community. Your efforts are greatly appreciated
Our club survey is still open. We would love you to complete it and help shape our future. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/X3GXLNV
We are using the current downtime to upgrade our facilities. We are currently relaying both the back pitch and nursery area. There are plenty more projects planned for the coming weeks.
We are in the process of establishing a digital library on our youtube channel. Subscribe and see memorable matches from down the years. Anyone with games that they would like to share please get in contact with anyone on committee. Watch out for our Sunday Game feature coming soon on all our social media channels.
Finally for the month of June we are teaming up with Breast Cancer Ireland and challenge our members to walk/jog/run 100k . We would love if as many members as possible could sign up to support this great cause. When registering make sure to sign up for Geraldines GFC as your chosen organisation. To make it more interesting Inniskeen Grattans actually think their members will walk further than ours !! Lets show them that as one of their own said " they'll have to walk from Monaghan to the Grand Canal" to beat the Gers. Sign up at www.100kin30days.ie
Hope everybody is keeping safe and well
