match at home to Roche Emmetts on a glorius sunny Wednesday.

This was to be game of 2 halves, played in a sporting manner with great skill and determination shown by both sides.

The Gers lads had the better of the opening period and raced into an early lead with some nicey taken scores as a result of good defending and swift attacking.

The visitors came back into the game to over take the Gers and there were only a couple of scores between the sides at the break.

The larger panel and longer legs proved decisive as to their credit the home side tried hard but couldn’t convert their possession into scores as the visitors finished strongly.

The Gers lads kept going to the end and the coaches were proud of their effort agus an spiorad láidir.
