A win and a loss for Gers u15 boys in Championship
Gers u15 boys head into their concluding Championship group game against Glen Emmets next Monday with both a win and a loss on board, having played two entertaining games in the past week, against St. Joseph’s and Dreadnots respectively.
Against St Joseph’s we started well scoring the first 3pts. However the Joes were very effective on the counter attack and hit for 2 first goals and a 3rd in the second half which ended up being the difference. The Gers battled manfully to the end scoring some fine points to reduce the gap but the Joes ran out winners on a scoreline of 3-08 to 0-14
Our game against Dreadnots saw us put in an improved performance with excellent teamwork, with all players moving the ball quickly being the most pleasing aspect.
The Gers ran out deserving winners on a 7-17 to 1-07 scoreline.
Best of luck to the boys v Glen Emmets next Monday in Tullyallen.
