Chairmans Address

A Chairde,

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce you to Cairde na nGearaltach, an exciting new initiative dedicated to safeguarding the future of Geraldines GFC. This fundraising initiative is central to advancing the development of McGeough Park which has been home for training and growth of our players and teams at all levels.

Looking to the future we recognise the need to ensure that our players have access to top level facilities. To reach this goal further investment is needed to build upon the solid foundations we have already established in McGeough Park. The next stage of development will enable us to strengthen our club’s position both on and off the field setting the stage for continued success in the years to come.

This can only be achieved with the collective efforts of the Haggardstown & Blackrock GAA community. Whether you are a dedicated supporter, a club member or a parent with young children starting on their GAA journey, your involvement is vital to the success of Cairde na nGearaltach. Together we can ensure that McGeough Park remains a beacon of excellence inspiring future generations of Geraldines players and supporters alike.

By supporting Cairde na nGearaltach you are investing in more than just infrastructure- you are investing in the future of our teams, club and the legacy of Geraldines GFC.

Is mise le meas,

Brian Mac Eachartaigh

McGeough Park has never been just a pitch to me. It is where my dreams and many more dreams are shaped, hard work is moulded and pride in the Green & White Jersey is strengthened. It is where the ambitions of our youth and senior teams are nurtured with the dedication and facilities they deserve. For Geraldines GFC to rise we must offer our players the resources, tools and environment that will allow them to achieve at the highest level. Mc Geough Park is where I became a Louth Player. It is where I became a Leinster Champion.

Through Cairde na nGearaltach we can make McGeough Park a centre of excellence that will support generations of girls and boys and support much needed upgrades. Imagine a place where young players begin their journey where our senior teams reach new heights and where every success is celebrated. That is the future of McGeough Park and we would love if together we could make it a reality. It is where my dreams were shaped and where I became an All-Ireland winner. Let’s give them the best chance possible.

What is Cairde na nGearaltach ?

Cairde na nGearaltach is a new fundraising initiative focused on providing a funding stream for the continuing infrastructure development in McGeough Park Haggardstown. As a club we are committed to providing top class facilities for our members and helping every player to fulfil their potential.

Cairde na nGearaltach provides an opportunity for those passionate about our club to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to it’s development. We will continue to seek and secure external funding to help drive forward the development of our facilities as we have successfully done to date.
