Lots of game time for U10 Boys

The Geraldines u-10 boys were in Darver on Saturday afternoon for another run out in the u11 October blitz.

18 boys in all togged out and competed very well against a well organised Baile Talun side. The Gers lads laid a great defensive foundation with good marking, tackling and blocks while taking well worked scores against a stiff breeze to edge a very evenly contested first half.

After the break with the advantage of the wind the Gers worked some fine scores. Despite a late downpour and a couple of unlucky breaks the boys managed to keep their composure, pushing on to close out the match in style.

The boys then returned to action on Monday evening with 2 Gers teams taking on 2 teams from Glen Emmets in Tullyallen. Each team played 2 very competitive games against the 2 Glen Emmets teams. Again the boys put on a great performance with 21 boys pulling on the Green and White jerseys. The boys are out again on Saturday afternoon in the Og Sport U11 Autumn Blitzes in Darver. Well done to all the boys involved 👏
