The Geraldines Under 10 Boys took part in their second spring blitz on the 24th of February 2024 at DKIT Sport.

The Geraldines Under 10 boys travelled to DKIT Sport on Saturday morning to participate in the second of the five spring blitzes that the Louth Coaching and games have organised.

This week we had a full complement of 24 players. This meant we were able to field two teams with all players receiving equal playing time.

Our teams played against St. Patricks', Roche Emmett’s, Cooley Kickhams and Hunterstown Rovers.

Our emphasis on training in preparation for the blitzes is on ball retention, specifically, on passing and moving, tackling and finding space.

The management was pleased with the player's performance and their attitudes, and we will continue to develop their skills in training this week.

The sides training resumes on Wednesday 28th of February at 6:00 pm in DKIT Sport.

Our next blitz is Saturday 2nd March at 10:00 am.
