Gers U10 Boys Spring Blitz 5 16th March 2024 DKIT Sport.

The Gers U10’s travelled to DKIT Sport to play in the final session of the Spring Blitzes organised by Louth Coaching and Games. The Blitzes are the precursor to the regular season blitzes that will begin on Monday 8th April.

Our teams played competitive matches against Cooley Kickhams, Naomh Malachi, Dundalk Gaels and Glyde Rangers. We were forced at the last minute to change from 3 teams to 2 teams, this was far from ideal as it seriously reduced the amount of game time the lads got. Fair play to mentors who did their best to ensure everyone got as much game time as possible.

The focus again as it is every week is pass and move. The lads did it well, and we are happy with their development from week to week.

Training resumes on Wednesday 20th March at 6 pm in DKIT Sport
