Our Geraldines U16 Boys had a great mornings football at the inaugural Oliver Walsh Memorial Cup held in Naomh Mairtins grounds in Monasterboice on Monday.
Our lads played two very competitive games against Colmcilles (Meath) and Naomh Mairtin.
We were unlucky to lose out by a point in both games thereby qualifying to play the Shield final which we won convincingly against O’Dwyers (Dublin).
Well done lads and to Colmcilles who won the Cup final. Thanks to Naomh Mairtin for the invite.
