Geraldine’s Boys Minor management team and squad have taken a holistic approach to this season's preparations.
In addition to their on-field training, the lads have taken responsibility for purchasing their training gear through a couple of fundraising events later in the summer.
Sunday morning however saw them give a bit back to the community they grew up in by a litter pick through the village of Blackrock.
The Tidy Towns Committees of both Blackrock and Haggardstown supported the lads.
A good day's work was rewarded with tasty refreshments from Danny at Rock Salt.
