The Gers U10 boys travelled to Courtbane on an unseasonably cold June evening to take part in the 5th scheduled blitz of the year.  Unusually we had a relatively low number of 17 players owing to holidays, illness and end-of-year school activities.  

Despite this, we fielded 2 teams who played against Naomh Malachi, Na Piarsiagh Dundalk and ourselves.

We were slow out of the traps but as the games progressed the lad's performances grew significantly.  

The focus on training for the next few weeks will be on refining the fundamentals of the game, namely pick-up, catching and pass and move.

Training resumes on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm in the Geraldines.
