Everyone at the Geraldines would like to wish our senior ladies' players Eilis Hand and Holly Lambe Sally and our senior men's player Dan Corcoran the best of luck today as they donn the red of Louth for thier respective senior teams today.
Holly and Eilis will be part of the Louth squad that faces Longford in the All Ireland Junior Championship as they aim to book a date in Croke Park shortly and the game takes place in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park at 2:00 pm

Longford go into this game knowing they need a big win over Louth to advance to the semi-finals. A win for the Midlanders and a win for Limerick will leave three teams on six points and go down to score difference.
Things won’t get complicated if Louth avoids defeat in Longford. The Wee County have two wins from two in the group so far; Kilkenny and Limerick. Longford lost to Limerick in their opening game but defeated Kilkenny last time out.

Dan Corcoran will be part of the Louth side that have reached thier first-ever All Ireland Senior Quarter Final where they face Donegal in Croke Park.
In what is a historic and momentous occasion for the county they know a win today could pip them to face Armagh in thier first ever Senior Semi final, but full focus will be on Jim McGuinness's men where Louth "are going to go out fighting" as declared by the manager Ger Brennan.
