The Geraldines Under 15 boys hosted Newtown Blues on Monday evening in McGeough Park.
The first half was evenly contested in an open match with good scores from both sides.
The Half time score was Geraldines 1-07 vs Newtown Blues 1-05
The home side upped the performance in the second half with some resolute defending and fine teamwork resulting in some great scores. The Blues to their credit kept battling until the end.
Final score: Geraldines 3-14 vs Blues 1-07
A great effort by our lads who are improving all the time.
