Gers U10 Blitz Tullallen 24th August 2024.
Glen Emmets kindly extended an invitation to travel to their home to participate in a blitz on a beautiful Sunny August Saturday morning.  Seanchalstown Meath, Ardee St. Mary’s,  and Naomh Martin, also attended.  
Delighted to have an opportunity to play against teams from other parts of the County, the Gers travelled with 21 lads, fielding two teams.  All lads got three games of football.

Management are happy to see the lads back progressing well.  Key focus this week was staying switched on, tracking their runners and seeking to move the ball quickly into the danger area ASAP.
Thank you to our parents who laid on some goodies for the lads in between games, and for forfeiting a lie on, having the lads at the venue bright and early on Saturday morning.

A special word of thanks to the hosts who laid on a superb spread afterwards.   It was really appreciated by all who availed of their hospitality.   

Our plan for the coming week is to play in the All County Blitz in Darver on Wednesday 28th August.  We’ll need the lads there for 18.30.
