U10 Blitz 10 Geraldines 2nd September 2024
On Monday 2nd September the Gers U10’s welcomed Sean O’Mahonys and Clann Na Gael to McGeough Park Haggardstown, to participate in the last of the Monday Blitzes organised by Louth Coaching and Games.
Like our previous outing in Darver the message conveyed to the lads is simple. Track the runners when not in position, move the ball forward at pace and relax in front of goals. The lads did this well. The Gers with 25 players attending fielded two teams. Credit to the mentors who managed the stopwatches, trying to ensure that all the players received equal playing time.
The season, which began in DKIT Sport on 7th Feb is drawing to a close in the coming weeks. We are training on Wednesday 4th at 6pm and we have two special guests Dan and Matt Corcoran coming in to help with training.
Thank you to Haggardstown Garden Centre for the brand new set of Jerseys. The lads certainly looked smart this evening.
There is a blitz on Saturday morning 7th September in Cooley Kickhams details will be confirmed in the coming days.
