Our successful U13 boys team from 2024 were guests of honour at our senior men’s game against Dreadnots.
These young lads had a great season last year defeating Ardee St Marys in the U13 B Championship final. They have followed that up this year. Winning the championship meant automatic promotion to Division 1 in U14 for 2025. Coupled with playing on the full sized pitch & the new rules the boys have not been fazed by the challenge. They were very unlucky to lose out to Oliver Plunketts by a solitary point in Round 1 but followed that up with a comprehensive victory away to Dreadnots. They play Dundalk Gaels on Wednesday night in Round 3.
We would like to thank Vincent, Paul , Padraig, Brian & Paul for the time & effort put in to give these young men a positive experience with Gaelic Football. Geraldines would like to thank our former player TJ Briody Accountants for sponsoring the lads in 2025. Thanks TJ.
Let’s hope this is the first of many successes for the lads & that we see them playing for our Senior team in the years ahead
