25 x u10’s left Gers at 9am on the way to Tullamore. We had 2 tough matches against a strong Tullamore u11 team and the lads gave a good account of themselves and never gave up.
Across the road to the Louth match after a tea & sandwiches in the clubhouse (thanks Tullamore GAA) to support Louth GAA in NFL game against Offaly.
The lads got to kick a ball on the pitch at half time, which was a great experience.
And what a finish to the game, last minute goal to secure a brilliant win 2-10 to 2-8. Geraldines own James Craven started at corner back for Louth and Jim McEneaney came on as a sub while Dan Corcoran was an unused sub.
The u10 boys met the Louth team & management on the pitch afterwards, and the lads & Louth team were still buzzing after a terrific finale!
Great day out had by all!!
Many thanks to all the mentors and parents who traveled.

Also, last Thursday saw James Scanlon awarded the Loach na Himeartha (Hero of the Game) trophy. Well done James.
