Another ding dong battle happened between two local sides in Knockbridge tonight when our Senior Mens team played St Brides in Knockbridge.

Geraldines got off to the same start as the PSC 1/4 with a point with a sweeping move for Jim McEneaney to open the scoring. Jim added to his tally with a free but 3 unanswered points meant the Brides took a one point advantage in the opening 10 minutes. A bit of a scrumage with both teams led to both being reduced to 14 men. 2 Gers points from Gareth Neacy and Matt Corcoran gave our boys the advantage until Brides opened the Gers backline with a goal. Jim and Gareth added 2 more for the Gers before halftime which we trailed by 1

Brides opened the 2nd half with 2 points to make it a 3 point game. It took the Gers Until the 15 minute in the 2nd half to register the 1st point from Neil Jones. Gareth Neacy with his 3rd point made it a 1 point game. The Brides Struck another point with 5 minutes remaining. Substitute Conor Rafferty scored a point from play and an injury time free to level the game.
