GERALDINES GFC CLUB NOTES MONDAY 17 AUGUST 2020

The Senior Men had a Sunday lunchtime start to their championship campaign with both sides sharing the spoils in an entertaining encounter, final score Gers 1-10 St. Pats 1-10. The men play their second championship match on Sunday v O’Raghaillaighs in Stabannon at 4.30 pm. Our Junior Men had a great win away to the Blues on Tuesday evening on a score line of 1-14 to 0-09.

Our Senior Ladies also had an early start on Sunday with their second championship match against St. Mochtas. They would record their second win on a score of 0-10 to 0-04. They are in championship action again this Sunday v St Fechins, throw in is at 11 am in the Gers.

Our Junior Ladies had a convincing win over Clan Na Gael B on Friday night, final score 5-12 t 0-06.

Competitive matches have now started within our juvenile sector. As always you can get all up to date information on our social media platforms and we would encourage all parents and supporters to sign up to a new App called ClubZap which contains details of all club news including fixtures. We wish all our teams and management all the best for the forthcoming week.

The Geraldines Euro millions Lotto got underway on Friday night. While no millionaires were made, we did have a couple of small wins. Hopefully we can add to this over the remaining 9 weeks. Thanks to all who have supported the club with this initiative and we wish everyone the best of luck.

We continue to ask everyone who visits our grounds to adhere to the strict protocol we have in place and to be compliant as we endeavour to keep you all safe.
