GERALDINES GFC CLUB NOTES MONDAY 7 SEPTEMBER 2020

The Senior men’s hopes of progressing in the Championship were ended at the quarter final stage by Ardee St. Marys who would run out winners on a score line of 4-15 to 3-11.

Our Senior Ladies will play Roche in their championship semi final on Sunday 13th September.

Our Division 3 Ladies lost by a single point to the O’Raghallaighs/Oliver Plunketts on Friday night, final score 5-7 to 5-6. Next up for them is a championship match v Gleann Mhairtin on Friday night.

There was plenty of action in our juvenile section this past week and plenty more for this coming week. As always you can get all up to date information on our social media platforms and we would encourage all parents and supporters to sign up to a new App called ClubZap which contains details of all club news including fixtures. We wish all of our teams the best of luck and please remember to adhere to the government guidelines with regard to attendances at matches.

Our Lotto is back and currently stands at €15,600; please check our social media for more details of the revised ways in which you can take part. We thank everyone who supports our club lotto; funds raised are essential to the running of our facilities for the entire parish to enjoy. Remember that you got to be in it to win it! We continue to ask everyone who visits our grounds to adhere to the strict protocol we have in place and to be compliant as we endeavour to keep you all safe.
