Our u12 girls entertained the Dundalk Gaels this morning in the Geraldines. The conditions for a match were very good although there was a strong breeze blowing straight down the pitch. 24 girls turned out for the Gers, with the match played over 4 quarters, with each girl playing at least half the match. The game was a great contest with both sides showing great determination and desire to outdo each other. It was also a high scoring affair, with both sides scoring some excellent goals and points. It is great to see the improvement in the girls week on week. They will be out again next week with a further 2 challenge matches lined up. Well done to all the girls who played today and to the mentors and helpers.
