The Geraldines Mens 3rd team took to the field for the first time in the clubs history on Tuesday night against a Glyde/Sean's/Westerns combo in Division 6B.

With the latter getting off too a better start until Skube's O'Brien combined with Senan Carroll to put the ball in the net. As the half went on the Gers found therir groove with Oisin Geoghegan and O'Brien adding more goals for the gers to lead well at the break.

The second half start well for our men again with Johnny Kierans and Oran O’Hanlon adding points to the scoreboard.

Veteran Davy Donegan,came off the bench, to spilt the posts with a tasty point. Soon after Cathal O'Brien added his 4th goal of the night.

Great work in the back by Enda Callan seen the Gers move the ball up the field to Johnny kierans who's sublime pass played in O'Brien for his 5th goal.

A great team effort was shown in a great win in a historic night.
