Our second outing of the season saw us gain our first win with a good victory over the Pats. Improvements from the previous week were evident, with the girls definitely determined to put in a better performance. The defence offered up very little in scoring opportunities for our opponents, our midfield worked tirelessly, winning ball and feeding our forwards. The forwards made themselves available and worked some great scores. The Pats never stopped trying and kept our girls on their toes throughout, making the contest an enjoyable one for those in attendance. Well done girls and thanks to all who turned out, to all of the mentors and helpers and to the parents and supporters. Next up is a home match v St. Kevin’s on Wednesday.
