U13 Boys League Round 1 Geraldines U13 Boys made the trip to John Markey Park, Ballygassan for our first league game of the year versus a strong and talented Naomh Fionnbarra side.

The hosts started brightest and were very clinical in front of goals to gain a lead they would never surrender. The Gers were under pressure in defence early on but worked our way back into the game and only for some erratic shooting the winning margin would have been much tighter. This squad have trained hard since the return of Gaelic and the most pleasing aspect of the game was the never say die attitude and willingness to play to the final whistle of each member of the squad.

Training continues Friday and our next game is versus O’Raghallaighs at home next Wednesday.
