U13 Boys League Round 2 Geraldines U13 Boys hosted O’Raghallaighs in a good open sporting game on Wednesday night. The Gers started brightest and scored 4 good points without reply. However O’Raghallaighs hit back with 1-01 of their own to reel our lads back in. The Gers responded with a goal of their own but O’Raghallaighs hit back with another goal, somewhat against the run of play. Gers lads fell behind by 3 points early in the 2nd half but our lads dug in and good solid defending and midfield dominance helped us gain a strong foothold in the game in the 2nd half and a third goal helped seal the win on the night. Great work rate, effort and no little skill again from every one of our 19 boys on the night. Training continues Friday and our next game is versus Glen Emmets at home next Wednesday.
