8 months and 17 days since the last league game for our Senior Mens team. We started quickly with a Paul Clarke goal within 30 seconds. The Mochtas levelled matters with 3 points, one from a free. Our next score on the 14th minute was brilliant patient play, moving the ball from left to right and ending with a Shane O’Hanlon point. Our lead didn’t last long ad the Mochtas next attack ended with the ball flying past Sean McEneaney into our net. After the water break, we started to get on top, this started with a Jack Reid point to put a point between the teams. A Fearghal McDonald point levelled the game again. The final score from John McCrohan had us leading by 1 going into half time.

We continued our form from the water break with 4 points in the 1st ten minutes coming from Gareth Neacy, Shane Rogers and twice by Shane O’Hanlon. Mochtas took control after this and scored 3 points which left it a draw at the water break.

After the 2nd half water break, the Mochtas came out flying with a goal and took a 1 point lead. The Gers pushed to get back on level terms but the Mochtas finished out the game with 2 points to give them a 3 point victory.
