A Game of 2 Halves !

The girls were away to Hunterstown and started off strongly taking the game to their opponents. Being guilty of taking too much out of the ball and not taking their scoring chances they would go in level at halftime, 1-03 to 0-06; not a fair reflection on the first half performance.

Hunterstown stepped up the intensity levels in the second half with the Gers unable to match it, giving away possession too often and not winning their 50/50 balls. Hunterstown would run out winners by 0-17 to 1-06. Plenty more to come from the girls and they must learn to be focused and work hard for the full 60 minutes. Thanks to all mentors and helpers as well as to all who supported on the day.
