A spell of heavy rain did not prevent the under 8 boys shining again as they were in action on a showery Sunday morning blitz in Dundalk Gaels. The Gers fielded two teams who each played 3 games with equal game time for all. The boys put their recent training to good effect, playing very well against impressive teams from Kilkerley Emmets, Cooley Kickhams and hosts Dundalk Gaels. Both Gers teams again competed strongly recording another fine display despite the intermittent downpours. Well done to all the boys for another great team performance. Many thanks to Dundalk Gaels for hosting a well organised blitz. Thanks too to coaches, covid officers and parents who all helped out. The progress continues. Looking forward to the next one.
