GERALDINES GFC CLUB NOTES MONDAY 5 JULY 2021
The Senior Men were back in league action this week with a home match v St Fechins. In a closely contested match the boys recorded a hard-fought victory by a single point, winning 2-13 to 2-12. One of our Junior teams were in action over the past week, and were unlucky to come out on the losing side against Kilkerley in a very close match, final score 1-14 to 3-07.
Our Senior Ladies were out against old foes Cooley on Sunday morning in Division 1, and had a great win on a score line of 1-17 to 1-09 to extend their unbeaten start to the season. Our Junior Ladies recorded a good win v Cuchulainn Gaels on Friday night with a walkover for our other Junior team.
All our underage teams are back training, with fixtures and blitz’s taking place for many. As always you can get all up to date information on our social media platforms and we would encourage all parents and supporters to sign up to ClubZap which contains details of all club news including all club fixtures.
Our Lotto is back and currently stands at €5000.00; please check our social media for details of the ways in which you can take part. We thank everyone who supports our club lotto; funds raised are essential to the running of our facilities for the entire parish to enjoy. Remember that you got to be in it to win it!
We continue to ask everyone who visits our grounds to adhere to the strict protocol we have in place and to be compliant as we endeavour to keep you all safe.
The Geraldines Skills Camp will run from 09-11 Aug inclusive and is open to all from 7-18 years. Some of the confirmed coaches attending are Lauren Magee and Sinead Goldrick, Paddy Christie and Paddy Small, Liam Rafferty and Conor Meyler. Book your place via the club shop on Clubzap and get an exclusive top as part of the fee.
