Our U12 boys had a great game against a visiting St. Mochtas side on what turned out to be a very pleasant sunny Saturday afternoon.

The Gers side started brightly into the wind with some well taken points but it wasn’t long before the Mochtas side settled and managed to take some fine scores to leave things tight at half time.

With the wind behind them and some fresh legs the Gers pulled away with some well taken goals and a series of points in the third quarter. While the Mochtas battled on and despite two fine goals and points late on it was not enough to hold the Gers who won comfortably in the end.
