The Gers U9 boys travelled to Knockbridge last ight for a blitz played in warm summer sunshine.

Despite the fact that most of the lads attended Cúl Camps earlier in the day, 22 lads togged out in 2 teams who each played in 3 well contested games. The other teams in attendance were Stabannan and na Piarsaigh along with St Brides who hosted an enjoyable evenings football, with great tackling and skills on show from the Gers lads, maith sibh 💪

Special mention to Kevin Soraghan who made his refereeing debut this evening and made several sluddenesque decisions which prompted outrage and admiration from opposition management in equal measures!!
