Geraldines Ladies kept their unbeaten run in the league intact with an emphatic win over Roche Emmets on Sunday morning. Meabh Fee grabbed three goals as the Geraldines secured the win 6-11 to 1-04 as they enter the final three games of the league season.

The two sides exchanged points before Meabh Fee scored his first goal of the afternoon, the Geraldines were to get a second goal as a foul in the area saw the referee point to the spot and Sandra Neary converted the penalty sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

Emma Gartlan and Lousie Corcoran scored a point apiece before Meabh Fee scored her second goal of the afternoon hitting a low effort past the keeper that left her with no chance to save. Zoe McGahon would get his first score of the game before Meabh Fee just before half time would pick the ball up just inside the 45-yard line and beat three Roche players and evaded the challenge of another to score her third goal of the game.

Sandra Neary opened the scoring for the Geraldines in the second half with a well-struck long-range effort before Abbi O’Connor would get Geraldine's fifth goal as she despatched the goal despite the best intentions of the Roche defence. Zoe McGahon would then also get a goal before Viviane Bond would have the last say with a score right on the final whistle.

It was a comprehensive victory with some outstanding performances from this side as they look to continue this rich vein of form in the coming weeks.
