Gers U7 4th Blitz of the season. The Gers U7 travelled to Clann Na Gael this morning to take part in the 4th blitz of the season, Cooley and the Clans were also in attendance. The Gers fielded 3 teams with 22 players all getting equal time to play. This was a serious step up in performance from the lads, and it’s obvious that there is a fine team in the making for the club. Gers management were most impressed this week by the near hand tackling skills on show when we did not have possession, our passing when we had the ball, and the lads ability to bisect the goalposts when we were within shooting range. Training continues this week on Thursday night at 6pm.
