West winds favourable or not the boys again played exceptionally well competing tremendously in some tough battles against well organised teams from Oliver Plunketts, St Feckins, N. Malachi, Westerns and St Mary’s. There were many fine individual performances on show with all boys playing their part. They laid on a mighty display of defending with some great team interplay and a good dose of composed, precise score taking to round off a very entertaining evening of football.
