GERALDINES GFC CLUB NOTES

Our Senior Men retained their Senior Championship status with victory over Dundalk Gaels in the Clans on Saturday evening. A dominant first half performance laid the groundwork for the victory and despite a tougher second half the Gers would win by 1-09 to 0-10. Our Senior Ladies had a great win over Cooley on Sunday morning on a score line of 5-08 to 0-06 and will pay the Pats next Sunday in the championship semi final. The weekend kicked off Friday night with our Junior Men also tasting victory in their opening championship match against the Joes, final score 3-20 to 2-08.

There has been lots of activity for our underage players this week; you can keep up to date with all club activity on our social media platforms and Clubzap.

Our Lotto jackpot is steadily climbing. This week it stands at €8200.00; please check our social media for details of the ways in which you can take part. We thank everyone who supports our club lotto; funds raised are essential to the running of our facilities for the entire parish to enjoy. Remember that you have got to be in it to win it!
