The u13 and u14 boys played out the first of their November series of blitzes on a very wet and windy McGeough Park on Saturday afternoon.

Despite the poor conditions there was a good turn out of 32 boys who played off a series of games of 8 a side.

Huge thanks to our senior players Sean McEneaney, Aaron Murray and Michael Rogers who attended and took charge of a team each.

Sean McEneaney showed he may have inherited his father’s managerial genes as his team won the cup competition while the same could be said of Aaron Murray whose team triumphed in a very high scoring and entertaining Shield final.

It was a great afternoon of football and there were lots of good displays of skills.

Each week coaches are recognising individual skills displayed during the week.
