League Winners

The U13 girls completed a clean sweep of league matches in their final match against the Pats on Sunday. With this win the girls secured the top spot in the league for 2021 and with it the title of league winners. The Gers started brightly and led 3-01 to no score at half-time. Pats had a spell of control for the third quarter and managed to score two goals that they were quite fortunate to get. But the Gers brushed themselves off after the water break to rediscover their groove, and pull away as comfortable winners 4-03 to 3-00. We now look forward to the championship semi-final v Hunterstown next weekend. Well done to all the players. On the day the scorers were Aoife F 1-01, Heather 1-00, Meabh O'H 1-00, Leah 1-00, Laura and Ava 1 point each.
