U13 Semi-Final Championship

Sunday's semi-final against Hunterstown was a competitive match throughout. Gers played some good football at times. Hunterstown held onto our coat-tails and we found it difficult to pull away. The end result was 1-03 to 0-01 and a victory for the Gers. The scorers were Laura 1-00, Aoife F, Muireann, and Heather all 1 point each. It has been a phenomenal year for all the girls. There has been no shortage of football with both U12 and U14 leagues running from March to August, and then as a combined group of U13s from September to date. Over the last 9 matches 38 players have got gametime and that will only benefit them heading into the next U14 season in 2022. We have to say the evolution of the players over the last three months has been a joy to watch. And that is on top of the strong foundations already in place. We congratulate the girls on a successful league campaign and wish them lots of luck in next weekend's championship final.
