Gers U10 Take part in All County Blitz in DKIT Sport

The Gers U10’s season kicked off in style in DKIT Sport on Sunday morning. Fielding 2 teams the lads played against, St. Brides, St. Kevins, St. Fechins and St. Joesphs. Management were really impressed by the lads hand passing, tenacity in the tackle, and their willingness to get “stuck in”, not shying back from the physical elements of the game. This group benefitted considerably from their experiences of playing an age grade up in All county blitzes that took place last September and October. That, and the fact that the lads have taken a stretch in size over the Winter means that the Club have a fine group of footballers on their hands. Blitzes continue next Sunday, where the lads will get their opportunity to shine once again.
