Gers U9’s first blitz of 2022.

The Gers U9s returned to competitive action in a bitter cold evening, hosted by Dundalk Gaels. The Gers lads played against 2 teams each from Dundalk Gaels and Dundalk Young Irelands Not surprisingly the lads were a little ring rusty in their first competitive game of the season but grew into the games, with some excellent passing, tackling and score taken on show and every player improved as the the games went on.

Fielding 2 teams all players received equal game time, and all had the opportunity to put into play the skills that we have been working on with them in training. Training continues each Friday from 6pm to 7pm on the side pitch, and we welcome any players that are interested in playing gaelic football, making friends and having fun.
