Gers 10 Blitz, Sean McDermotts 20th June 2022.

The Geraldines U10’s travelled to Mountrush on a beautiful Monday evening take part in a blitz hosted by the Sean Mcdermotts/Westerns. Fielding two teams, the lads played 3 games against the hosts, and Ardee St. Marys.

Being slightly slow out of the traps owing to the heat, the lads eased into the games and became very strong in all of the games. The focus for this blitz was moving the ball at pace into space and getting the ball back as quick as we could. Once again there were fine displays of the basics of the game, and there was some excellent score taking when they got in front of the posts.

Training continues on Tuesday evenings at 6pm.
