GERALDINES GFC CLUB NOTES - MONDAY 18 JULY 2022

The Senior Men had a disappointing loss against the Pats on Saturday evening in Round 12 of the Division 1 league, final score 1-16 to 1-11. Next up is a home match against Cooley on Tuesday evening, throw in @ 7.30 pm. The Juniors had a great win over Dundalk Gaels on Tuesday evening, by 2-14 to 2-08. There will be a 2 week break following this week’s matches.

Our Senior Ladies had a 5-17 to 1-11 victory over Roche on Tuesday evening in the Junior B championship, and followed this up with a one point win over the Brides on Friday night in the same competition, final score 1-15 to 3-08. On Sunday morning they went down by two points to St. Fechins in the Division 1 league, losing 1-09 to 0-10.    

There is lots of activity within our juvenile section, with many competitions getting down to the knockout stages, so make sure to check out our social media pages for details of training and matches. You can keep up to date with all club activity on our social media platforms and on Clubzap. 

The Geraldines Walking Club continues on Monday evening from 7 – 8 pm as we Walk and Talk in the Gers. Come along and bring a friend or two with you. Registration @ 6.55 pm at the main gate.

The Gers are running their ‘Wear in the World’ summer jersey photo competition. If you are away on holidays, at an event or happen to meet someone famous, make sure to have your Gers colours on and to send us in a photo.
