TARA SOARS TO ALL IRELAND GLORY

Congratulations to our very own Tara O’Connor on Leinster and All Ireland glory in various athletics disciplines this year. Aswell as being a key member of our U-15 ladies team Tara is also a valued member of St Gerard’s Athletic Club in Dundalk.

Her successes include Leinster and All Ireland gold in the U16 High Jump. Leinster schools junior gold in High Jump and Long Jump.

All Ireland schools junior High Jump gold and junior Long Jump silver.

Incredibly Tara also won gold in the All Ireland U16 Pentathlon. Not surprisingly then she has been selected for Athletics Ireland’s U-15 squad for the upcoming AAA English U15 and U17 championships in August.
