The Gers U9s were in competitive action on a sunny evening at the last home Blitz of the 2022 season. The Gers fielded two strong teams with 20 players in total, pulling on the green Jersey, where they played against 2 teams from Cuchulainn Gaels and 1 team from Kilkerley Emmets. The boys continued to show huge improvements since their last outing, with some amazing blocking, near hand tackling and some excellent score taken. The work rate of all the boys was excellent throughout with their ability to overturn the opposition been the most impressive attribute. All of the training throughout the year is really paying off, with each showing continuous improvement throughout the season.

All players received full game time over 2 games and all had a really enjoyable evening. It was topped of with drinks, crisps and bars kindly sponsored by Shane and Orla McGuinness. Well done to all the boys. Training continues on Thursday at 6.00
