Na buachaillí f14 hosted Naomh Martin on a bitterly cold, wet and windy McGeough Park. It wasn’t a day for football and both sides battled hard despite the terrible conditions. Bhí sé fuar.

Naomh Martin had the better start and were clinical in converting chances to scores, whereas the Gers lads wasted several good opportunities in the first half.

The second half was much the same, although to their credit the home side finished strongly and captain Joe Lynch cooly slotted home a spot kick for the last score of the game to register a personal tally of 1:01.

Several of the lads caught the eye despite the cold conditions, Harry Melanphy put in a great shift in midfield and earned a penalty.

James Scanlon was excellent at full back and midfield, Sam Murphy never gave up in defence and had a great afternoon & Daniel Hanna was commanding at centre back.

Iarracht maith on ná buachaillí 👍

Next match is away to Joes on Saturday, training continues on Wednesday.
