Gers U10’s first blitz of 2023

The Gers U10s returned to competitive action on a bitter cold evening, hosted by Naomh Malachi. The Gers were down a few lads and drafted in some U9s to make up 2 very strong teams with 18 players pulling on the Green and white Jersey. Each Gers team played games against St Brides, Kilkerley Emmets and the hosts Naomh Malachi. Not surprisingly the lads were a little ring rusty in their first outdoor competitive game of the season, but grew into the games, with some excellent hand passing, tackling and score taken on show and every player improved as the the games went on.

We will look to get back on the pitch on Thursday evenings as soon as weather conditions allow. Well done to all the boys on the excellent performances. 👏
