Na buachillí f14 welcomed Clan na nGael to McKeogh park on Saturday afternoon for a u14 league semi-final match.
The conditions were perfect and both teams served up an entertaining match.
The Gers side was significantly depleted by a combination of injuries, sickness and unavailability which left the lads with an uphill task.
To their credit they tried hard and by half time it was all to play for.
The strength in depth of the visitors proved significant in second half as some of the Gers lads had to come off due to injury, as the visitors finished strongly to record a victory.
It wasn’t our day but all the coaches are really proud of all the lads for getting this far in a very competitive league.
They have had a very successful league campaign, maith sibh 👍
Attention now turns to the next Monday on Monday in the u15 div.3 league.
