The Geraldines Senior Ladies made it three wins in their Louth LGFA Division One league campaign with a 2-12 to 1-08 over Clan na Gael in Haggardstown on Sunday morning. With the returning county players back in action for Paula Lavin's side, it was Meabh Fee’s brace of goals in the second half that made the difference in the tie.
Louise Corcoran opened the scoring with a well-taken point for the home side, followed by Emma Gartlan adding to the Geraldines points tally. The Clans were to score four points without reply to put them in the lead before points from Karina Corcoran and Meabh Fee levelling the tie for the Geraldines.
The Clans were to add two more scores before Meabh Fee and Zoe McGahon finished off the half with two well-taken points to level the match at the break.

Meabh went on to add two more scores before Holly Lambe-Sally added her name to the scoreline with a well-taken point-breaking from the half-back line.
The Clans were to get a goal to bring the game back to four points as the match reached its conclusion but Meabh Fee had the final say and last score of the game as she broke free of her marker to place the ball past Mia Rogers high in the roof of the net to give the Geraldines a seven points win.
